The Hindu god, Brahma, is said to have lit the eternal flames that burn at Muktinath. To Buddhists, Muktinath is a place where the great sage Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) who brought Buddhism to Tibet, came to meditate. Itinerary:

Day 1: Pokhara — Jomsom

The tour starts from the beautiful city of Pokhara. We move early morning at 7:00 from Pokhara Tourist Bus Park, towards lakeside, and leave for Jomsom from 0 KM, Pokhara. Overnight Stay at Jomsom on sharing basis.

Day 2: Jomsom — Muktinath — Pokhara

From Jomsom, we take a short road trip to Muktinath Temple and visit the village of Ranipauwa where the temple is located. After the seemingly short visit, we recommend to make this as short as possible because of the altitude. Muktinath Temple is located at a very high altitude and it is not recommended to stay in such low altitudes for longer periods of time as it may cause sickness. After departing from Muktinath, we head back to Pokhara.
